Currency and pricing
All prices and charges are in Canadian dollars (CAD). The price shown on the product page is the price you pay. Any applicable Canadian sales tax (GST, HST, or PST, depending on your province) is calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your order.
When your payment is taken
When you place an order, you authorize Redleaf Boutique and our payment processor to charge your selected method for the total shown at checkout, including taxes. You confirm you are authorized to use that method. If a payment is declined or cannot be verified, your order may be delayed or cancelled, and we will contact you where possible.
Secure checkout and encryption
Our checkout is encrypted with industry-standard SSL/TLS, which scrambles the information you enter so it cannot be read by anyone intercepting the connection. You can confirm you are on a secure page by the padlock icon and the "https" prefix in your browser.

All payments are handled through Shopify's PCI-DSS-compliant checkout, the security standard required of organizations that handle cardholder data. Sensitive card data is processed by the payment provider and is not stored on our own servers.
How your payment information is handled
Your full card number, expiry date, and security code are processed directly by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers. After an order, we can see only your billing and shipping details, the items purchased, and the last four digits of your card.
Fraud prevention
To protect you and our store, orders may be screened for fraud. We reserve the right to verify your details or to refuse or cancel any order we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or in violation of our Terms of Service. Any payment taken in such cases is refunded.
